Agentic AI startup 42Maru said on Tuesday it will take part in Japan IT Week Autumn 2026, held from Oct. 21 to 23 at Makuhari Messe in Makuhari, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, to showcase its website-focused AI agent SiteBunny.
Japan IT Week Autumn is Japan's largest business-to-business exhibition covering the IT industry, including AI, cloud, security and software. About 700 companies and more than 31,000 buyers and corporate executives are expected to take part this year.
SiteBunny is a no-code software-as-a-service solution that automatically learns from corporate websites, frequently asked questions and PDF documents to answer questions from visitors and employees. It can be introduced by registering a website address URL and adding a script tag.
It applies 42Maru's RAG42, MRC42 and LLM42 technologies to provide answers along with sources. It responds in real time to multilingual questions, including in English, Korean and Chinese, even on Japanese-language websites, and also supports a "virtual human mode" in which an avatar responds with voice and text.
At the exhibition, 42Maru will conduct product demonstrations and adoption consultations for local companies and recruit official partner companies to handle distribution in Japan. It plans to expand the local SaaS supply chain by providing partners with sales materials, technical support and product training.
Kim Dong-hwan (김동환), CEO of 42Maru, said demand among Japanese companies for AI transformation is quickly moving beyond the technology review stage toward adopting practical AI agents that directly lead to immediate innovation in customer response and improved work efficiency. He said the company will actively expand local partnerships to create tangible business results in Japan's AX market.
