Bitcoin OTC holdings fall to 123,000 BTC, down 75 percent from 2021 peak
Bitcoin held by over-the-counter (OTC) desks has fallen to about 123,000 BTC, roughly one-quarter of the level seen in September 2021. CoinPost reported that on-chain analyst Darkfost said reserves in known OTC desk addresses have dropped to a past low. CryptoQuant data show holdings were about 500,000 BTC in September 2021. Analysts cited reduced readily available off-exchange supply, possible shifts toward long-term holding, broader distribution of ownership and changes in how large investors trade.

Crypto trader Crypto Michael said he is still holding an XRP long position entered last month as of Sept. 19. The Crypto Basic reported he posted a screen showing a 20-times leveraged XRP/USDT perpetual futures position. The screen showed an entry price of $0.9918, a mark price of $1.4036 and a return of 830.51 percent. The article noted the return reflects leverage and implied an underlying gain of about 41.5 percent.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (황) publicly dismissed warnings about AI risks and the need for regulation, saying the chance AI will end the world is 0 percent. In a CBS Sunday Morning interview, he called efforts to frighten people unnecessary and irresponsible and said fears around AI are exaggerated. He opposed calls to slow AI development, saying such arguments lack scientific basis, and argued new rules, laws or guidelines are not needed.
