Amazon unveils five Alexa devices led by 16-inch Echo Show 16
Amazon has unveiled five new Alexa-based smart home devices, including the 16-inch Echo Show 16. The company expanded its range across speakers, a smart clock, a photo frame and smart displays. Echo Show 16 starts at $499.99, or $569.99 with a NanoMatte option, and is available for pre-order with shipping slated for later this year. Other models go on sale immediately, with prices ranging from $99.99 to $249.99.

Apple foldable iPhone Duo seen taking nearly 30% share of global market in 2027
Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, is forecast to take a 29.8% share of the global foldable smartphone market in 2027, according to TrendForce. The researcher reiterated its earlier outlook after shipments began, projecting 5 million units shipped by the end of 2026 and a 24.8% share that year. It expects Apple to rank second in 2027 as Samsung and Huawei shares slip.

Apple has disclosed why it reversed its long-held opposition to touchscreen Macs and added touch to the MacBook Pro. Executives said touch is meant to complement, not replace, the trackpad and keyboard.
