Hana Bank Narasarang Card gains word of mouth on differentiated benefits

Hana Bank said on Jan. 5 its Hana Narasarang Card is gaining word of mouth among prospective and active-duty soldiers on services and discounts. The bank said key benefits such as PX, online shopping and CU discounts come with no spending conditions, while other benefits use low prior-month spending requirements. It also offers up to 20 percent discounts and up to 6,000 won a month for OTT services, plus banking and insurance benefits.

KT's Mideum K ranks No. 1 among South Korea's mid-sized AI models on AAII

KT said on Jan. 4 its in-house large-scale AI model, Mideum K, ranked No. 1 among South Korea’s mid-sized models on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, a platform that comprehensively evaluates global AI model performance. KT said the model scored highly across more than 10 categories and recorded 87 percent on the tau^2-bench agent benchmark. It also posted strong results on MMLU Pro, GPQA and HLE, and led domestic Korean-language understanding indicators.

Intel, NCSOFT launch AION 2-optimized PC

Intel and NCSOFT on Jan. 5 launched the AION 2 Gaming Collab PC, a desktop optimized for the game AION 2. The companies said they designed the specifications and configuration so gamers can feel the results of performance tuning. The system includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor and an Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics card. Buyers will receive character appearance change rights and special and buff items. The PC will be sold through Compuzone and Cinexzone.
