Cellon raises seed funding to step up memory development to improve AI answer quality

Cellon, a startup developing Memory.inc to improve the quality of AI answers, said on April 29 it has raised seed funding from Primer and TheVentures.

Cellon plans to use the investment to enhance Memory's core functions and improve product completeness.

According to the company, Cellon's solution is a Memory.inc that connects internal and external data scattered across multiple chats and services, including conversations, rules, code and emails, to improve the quality of answers and decisions from existing AI services.

The company explained it developed the product by considering that beyond simple storage, retrieved materials, answers and the basis for decisions are linked so that the more it is used, the AI can provide better answers and make better decisions on a more precise context. Memory supports teams in quickly finding and linking their internal and external data, and in continuously accumulating information created in work processes in a form that AI can use.

Cellon Chief Executive Jun-ha Jang (장준하) said, "The quality of AI answers depends as much on what it remembers and which materials it can retrieve in time as it does on which model you use." He added, "Memory aims to connect conversations, rules, code and search results scattered across multiple chats and services into one, creating a memory that helps AI find better, understand better and produce better answers."
