Hanwha Investment & Securities runs training to develop digital talent

Hanwha Investment & Securities said on Tuesday it will launch companywide training to cultivate digital talent. It plans to develop specialists who can lead the convergence of digital assets and traditional finance as part of its Global No.1 RWA hub vision. The company will run offline “Leader Digital Insight” sessions for executives and department heads from Jan. 14 to Feb. 5, and an online course for all employees from Jan. 12 to Feb. 11.

LG Uplus launches SOHO Safe Compensation plan for small business owners

LG Uplus on Jan. 14 launched a new internet plan, SOHO Safe Compensation, aimed at helping small business owners prevent financial damage. The plan automatically blocks access to suspected smishing, phishing and QR phishing sites. Depending on the plan, subscribers can receive compensation for monetary losses up to 3 million won a year and, for the 1G plan, device repair support up to 500,000 won a year. It also expands simultaneous PC connections and includes Wi-Fi 6 and other benefits.

11st issues welcome coupon pack for new and dormant customers, up to 110,000 won off

11st said on Tuesday it will issue a “welcome coupon pack” from Jan. 15 to 31 to new customers and those with no purchase history in the past three months. The pack contains seven coupons: two cart coupons, two coupons for Shooting Delivery and grocery items, and three category coupons for products such as furniture, beauty and luxury goods. It is issued once per ID, with an extra 5,000-won coupon for 11st Plus members.
