AI platform company Uracle said on Thursday it has launched an Eclipse version of its on-premises AI coding solution, Athena Code Assistant.
The company said the release is meaningful because many developers in South Korea still use the Eclipse environment as their main setup.
Uracle said it now supports Eclipse in addition to previously released versions for VS Code and IntelliJ, covering integrated development environments used by more than 90 percent of local developers.
Uracle plans to use the launch as a starting point to expand sales to financial firms, large companies and public institutions that develop in closed networks for security reasons.
Uracle CEO Tae-il Kwon (권태일) said, "With the release of the Eclipse version, Uracle has gained broad applicability that covers most development environments in South Korea, proving Uracle's unique market-friendly technical capabilities that respond quickly to voices from the field."
