AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea, operated by Worksphere, will hold an online resume festival, 'WORK FEST', where people can share insights on work and careers through resumes.
JobKorea is proposing resume writing not as simple job-search preparation but as a routine career-management habit. It will run the event for all office workers and job seekers through May 28. Participants can enter by creating a new resume or updating an existing one on JobKorea and then applying through a notice-board post.
JobKorea will select a total of 303 participants and provide prizes including a MacBook Neo for 1 winner, AirPods 4 for 2, Naver Pay gift certificates for 100, Baedal Minjok gift certificates for 100 and Mega Coffee Americanos for 100.
It will also run a 'Study with me' programme for office workers who find it difficult to write resumes. At 2 p.m. on May 27, it will hold an online study session via YouTube live streaming where participants can write their resumes with anonymous colleagues and share job-search insights.
A JobKorea official said WORK FEST was designed to make resume updates a new career routine to reflect on one’s potential and experience, rather than a burdensome assignment. The official said JobKorea plans to continue expanding various participatory programmes and community experiences so that all office workers and job seekers can design their work and careers more proactively.
