Airtable launches Superagent AI agent, targets next-generation AI collaboration platform

Cloud-based collaboration software company Airtable has unveiled an AI agent called Superagent, TechCrunch reported on Jan. 27. Founder and CEO Howie Liu said the company aims to go beyond Airtable’s existing business through the product. The company said Superagent coordinates multiple AIs working together on complex tasks, producing interactive market analysis and data visualisation. It is offered on monthly plans priced from $20 to $200.

China's Illuvatar CoreX unveils multi-year GPU roadmap, targets global market

Chinese AI semiconductor startup Illuvatar CoreX Semiconductor unveiled a multi-year GPU architecture roadmap and introduced an edge computing product line. It said its first architecture, Tianshu, outperformed Nvidia's Hopper platform, and said later designs target Blackwell and Rubin. The company also introduced TY-series edge products and said TY1000 surpassed Nvidia's AGX Orin in tests. It listed in Hong Kong on Jan. 8 and reported rising revenue alongside widening losses.

NCSoft's Aion2 announces measures against farmers, pledges continued crackdown on macro accounts

NCSoft said on Jan. 28 it will update its MMORPG Aion2 to strengthen its response to farming operations and improve user convenience. Developers announced measures including blocking certain overseas VPNs, upgrading the in-game reporting system and introducing hardware-based blocking. The company also raised the minimum level for gathering to 45 and introduced convenience updates such as a skill-use system and a character storage feature.
