Digital asset platform Fireblocks has launched an AI agent payment infrastructure product called Agentic Payments Suite and joined the x402 Foundation, Cointelegraph reported on Tuesday.
Agentic Payments Suite is a full-stack solution designed to support Coinbase's x402 protocol.
The report said Agentic Payments Suite supports the entire AI agent payment process. It includes wallet infrastructure that lets AI agents send funds, a receiving layer for merchants to take payments and compliance and settlement functions for regulated financial institutions.
Fireblocks is focusing on the spread of stablecoins through AI agents. Co-founder and chief product officer Idan Ofrat (이단 오프라트) said, "More than 1 billion people use AI assistants every day." He said, "If only some of them delegate spending authority to agents, the pace of stablecoin circulation will increase significantly."
