KAIST develops AI chip integrating sensing, computing and memory

A research team at KAIST’s School of Electrical Engineering proposed an AI semiconductor technology that integrates sensing, computing and memory. KAIST said the team presented six papers at IEEE IEDM 2025 in San Francisco from Dec. 8 to 10. Its work was selected as both a highlight paper and a best student paper. The team completed an in-sensor spiking convolution platform and developed next-generation NAND flash using an IGZO charge-trapping layer.

5minlab's Smash Legends collaborates with Naver Webtoon Double Click

Krafton's creative studio 5minlab said on Wednesday it will run a collaboration event in its real-time PvP action game Smash Legends with Naver Webtoon title Double Click through Feb. 24. The crossover introduces Spiro, the webtoon's main character, as a new strategist Legend with a Double Click Mode mechanic. Players can obtain Spiro via a debut pass and earn additional rewards through attendance, quests and new SmashToon content.

Cafe24 upgrades SEO to tackle zero-click shift to AI search

Cafe24 said it has upgraded its SEO services to help online businesses respond to an AI-led shift in search and improve competitiveness in search exposure in global markets. It introduced llms.txt to structure shopping mall information for AI search engines and automatically generate and optimise key data. Cafe24 also reinforced international SEO, including language-specific metadata optimisation, country-specific search settings and automatic hreflang management for multilingual product pages.
