LayerZero applies OFT to BDACS won stablecoin KRW1 to support multichain use

LayerZero, a global blockchain interoperability infrastructure company, said on Sept. 8 it will support its Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) technology for KRW1, a won-pegged stablecoin issued by digital asset infrastructure firm BDACS. LayerZero said the OFT 적용 will allow KRW1 to move and be used as the same asset across multiple networks rather than being limited to a specific blockchain. It also outlined plans to expand into financial market infrastructure.

AIMatics partners with Insungdata to launch AI chatbot for quick-service call centers

AIMatics, a company specialising in AI video recognition, said on Tuesday it has partnered with quick-service platform Insungdata to launch an AI chatbot dedicated to quick-service call centres. The company said the commercialised chatbot is its first application of an in-house, industry-specific small language model to a B2B setting. Embedded into Insungdata’s call platform, it automates order intake, delivery tracking and general inquiries.

Semifive begins mass production of Samsung 4-nanometer AI inference accelerator

Semifive, a global AI custom semiconductor specialist, has begun large-scale production of a data-center AI inference accelerator. The company said it is mass-producing HyperAccel's inference accelerator, Verda, using Samsung Foundry's 4-nanometer process. It said this is its first large-scale production using Samsung's most advanced 4-nanometer node and expects further orders as HyperAccel expands services. Semifive reported 42.3 billion won in new mass-production orders in the first half.
