Ethereum fails to break above $2,400 as on-chain, ETF and derivatives metrics weaken

Ethereum failed to clear resistance at $2,400, prompting warnings it could slide below $2,000. Cointelegraph reported that as prices corrected, network activity, staking flows and U.S.-linked selling indicators worsened at the same time. On-chain transactions, active addresses and fees fell, while Ethereum-based DEX volumes and total value locked declined. Unstaking queues surged, though staking entry demand remained. U.S. spot ETFs posted net outflows, and derivatives data pointed to selling dominance.

HPE launches first integrated product after Juniper deal, introduces Wi-Fi 7 AP with AI autonomous operations

HPE has launched a Wi-Fi 7 access point with AI-based autonomous operations, described as its first integrated product since acquiring Juniper, The Register reported on May 8. The cloud-delivered product targets hotels, branch offices and work-from-home environments, and can be managed through both Aruba Central and the Mist platform. HPE executives outlined features including dynamic capacity optimisation, automated frequency avoidance, network self-healing and detection and blocking of abnormal DHCP servers.

380,000 apps built with AI coding tools exposed online, leaking medical, financial and internal company data

As more apps are developed using AI coding tools, cases are rising in which internal company information is exposed online. Israeli cybersecurity company RedAccess said about 380,000 apps built using tools including Lovable, Base44, Replit and Netlify were accessible to anyone on the internet, and about 5,000 contained sensitive corporate data. Axios identified exposed apps containing shipping, healthcare, customer service and bank information.
