Searchdog, an industrial data AI startup, said on Tuesday it participated in Autodesk University 2026 held in Las Vegas from Sept. 15 to 17.
At the event, Searchdog showcased an AI platform that integrates analysis from documents such as contracts and specifications in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industries to CAD drawings and building information modelling (BIM).
The platform extracts and links document clauses, tables and revision histories with object, shape and attribute information from drawings and BIM. It supports natural-language search and helps users review whether designs meet regulations or client requirements.
During the event, Searchdog demonstrated the platform to North American AEC and manufacturing companies and technology partners and held discussions on proof-of-concept (PoC) projects focused on bidding, design and regulatory compliance work. It plans to use this to secure customers in the U.S. market and local references.
Searchdog CEO Junseon Baek (백준선) said, "Based on technology proven at industrial sites in Korea, we will make PoCs more concrete with local customers and partners."
