KB Securities delivered Chuseok holiday food items to 500 households of vulnerable elderly people living alone in Seoul ahead of the holiday.

KB Securities said on Sept. 22 it delivered “KB Companion Sharing Boxes” to vulnerable elderly people living alone in Seoul.

This year’s Chuseok sharing boxes were put together with the health and eating habits of elderly people who spend the holiday alone in mind. They include holiday foods, simple nutritional meals and a bakery snack set.

The sharing initiative was carried out with the Yangcheon Love Welfare Foundation. The foundation selected 500 households of elderly people living alone who need support and delivered the boxes to each household.

A KB Securities official said, “We prepared this with the hope that elderly people who are alone will have a plentiful holiday break.” The official added, “We will continue to put into practice the values of coexistence and inclusion.”
