Korea media commission, Korea Post back local specialties on home shopping with 840 million won in sales

South Korea's Korea Communications Commission and Korea Post said on Feb. 3 that 21 participating companies posted a combined 840 million won in sales after running the "Leap Market" programme for two months from Dec. 9 to the end of January. The programme supports sales channels for regional small and micro businesses by linking product planning and marketing with TV home shopping sales and post office parcel delivery. Some items sold out during broadcasts.
