Solus Advanced Materials' 2025 operating loss widens 31 percent to 71.5 billion won

Solus Advanced Materials said on Feb. 5 it posted 2025 consolidated revenue of 616.4 billion won and an operating loss of 71.5 billion won. Revenue rose 8 percent from a year earlier, but the loss widened 31.3 percent. It cited weaker EV demand, lower plant utilisation, higher fixed costs, and increased funding and foreign-exchange-related costs. The company plans to complete the sale of its copper foil unit in the first half and focus on battery foil.

Coupang, Coupang Eats to support digital shift at Cheongnyangni traditional market

Coupang and Coupang Eats Services said on Wednesday they will support a digital transformation push at Seoul's Cheongnyangni traditional market to strengthen merchants' online sales capabilities and help revitalise the market. The programme includes education to prepare vendors to join online platforms, consulting on online sales strategies and professional photography of menus and products. The companies also provided about 90,000 eco-friendly packaging containers and plan to pursue cooperation on meal kit development.

SKC posts 107.6 billion won Q4 operating loss, widens 30.8 percent on year

SKC said on Wednesday it posted fourth-quarter revenue of 428.3 billion won and an operating loss of 107.6 billion won. Revenue rose 0.8 percent from a year earlier, while the loss widened 30.8 percent due to one-off costs from asset restructuring. For 2025, SKC reported revenue of 1.84 trillion won and an operating loss of 305.0 billion won, with growth led by battery materials and record semiconductor materials results.
