Gosung Engineering, KGA to develop AI drone cover-integrated battery

Gosung Engineering said on Jan. 15 it signed an MOU with KGA to develop a cover-integrated battery for AI drones. The two companies will combine KGA’s expandable power solution with a drone case cover and cooperate on product R&D, prototype production, performance verification, commercialisation, overseas marketing and participation in government and public research projects. Gosung Engineering plans a KOSDAQ listing by 2027.

NCSoft adds pre-creation servers for Lineage Classic

NCSoft said on Wednesday it will open additional servers for pre-creating characters in Lineage Classic. The game began pre-character creation at 8 p.m. on Jan. 14, and the initial 10 servers plus five added servers were all filled early. The company will add five more servers at noon on Jan. 15. Players can install the game via NCSoft’s Purple platform to create a character in advance and reserve a name, with one pre-creation per account.

Shift Up joins '2026 Hope Ondol Warm Winter' campaign

Shift Up said on Jan. 15 it donated blankets worth 5 million won on Jan. 14 to support vulnerable people in the local community. The donation was part of the '2026 Hope Ondol Warm Winter' campaign promoted by the Seoul government and the Community Chest of Korea to help households in need. The company has joined other nearby community initiatives, including meals for seniors and meat sets for vulnerable groups.
