Anthropic testing new AI model, claims step-change performance

Anthropic is developing a new AI model with sharply improved performance and has begun testing it with some customers, Fortune reported on March 26. The development became known after Anthropic mistakenly exposed an unpublished document in a public data repository. A company spokesperson said the model represents a “step change” and is the best Anthropic has built. The leaked material referenced “Claude Mythos” and a higher tier called “Capybara.”

Apple to turn Siri into AI platform, seeks to allow links to external AI apps

Apple is pushing to convert its voice assistant Siri into an open platform, Bloomberg News reported on March 26, citing multiple sources. Apple plans to allow Siri to link with rival AI services through an iOS 27 update, the report said. Users would be able to send queries directly from Siri to services such as Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude. Siri currently uses only OpenAI's ChatGPT, the report said.

Samsung Electronics holds partner cooperation day, calls for 'one-team partnership' to overcome crisis

Samsung Electronics’ DX division held a partner cooperation day with supplier executives in Seongnam on Thursday, the company said. About 120 people attended, including representatives of about 90 partner companies and DX division head Roh Tae-moon. Supplier council chair Kim Young-jae urged partners to overcome challenges through a one-team partnership. Roh pledged efforts to deliver AI experiences and support an AI shift in manufacturing and quality processes.
