Hana Bank said on March 27 it held a "Retirement Pension Master Class" seminar on March 26 to strengthen job capabilities among employees responsible for corporate retirement pensions.
The seminar was arranged to improve corporate practitioners' understanding in line with changes to the retirement pension system and trends in pension management.
About 100 corporate retirement pension managers attended. Under the theme "a one-day master course that completes practical expertise", the seminar offered practice-focused lectures on retirement pension laws and systems, hands-on corporate banking training, retirement pension tax training and retirement pension asset management strategies.
It also provided an explanation of procedures for introducing the retirement pension system and related practical processes, along with networking for information exchange among participants.
Hana Bank plans to expand linked online and offline education programmes on the back of the seminar to strengthen its competitiveness in retirement pension services.
A Hana Bank official said, "We operate various programmes to support stable management of pension assets for companies that do retirement pension business." The official added, "We plan to continue education and support that reflect on-the-ground demand."
