Bonghwa, Gokseong local love vouchers to be used with post office debit cards

Korea Post will roll out a post office debit card-based local love voucher service in Bonghwa County in North Gyeongsang Province and Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province. It will launch the Post Office Bonghwa Love Card on June 10 and the Post Office Gokseong Simcheong Voucher on June 24. Users can pay even when top-up balances are insufficient, within their account balance, and receive cashback and discounts.

LGU+ to hold Uth Shorts Festival with Google, seeking generative AI content

LGU+ will hold the second Uth Shorts Festival, a customer-participation Shorts video contest run with Google and YouTube, the company said on Tuesday. The contest runs through July 31 and is open to anyone regardless of age or mobile carrier. This year’s theme is expressing one’s identity using AI, with two categories. Winners will be chosen based on topic fit, quality and views, with top entrants offered an AI training trip to Los Angeles.

Jensen Huang visits T1 on first stop in South Korea, gives Faker RTX 5090

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) visited T1’s home PC cafe on his first stop after arriving in South Korea and met Lee Sang-hyeok (이상혁), known as Faker. Huang arrived via Gimpo Airport and went to T1 Basecamp in Seoul, where he met five League of Legends players. He said gaming was Nvidia’s starting point and recalled witnessing the StarCraft boom. He later gave Faker a signed GeForce RTX 5090 and introduced RTX Spark.
