LG Electronics launches \'Battery Turn\' campaign to collect used vacuum batteries
LG Electronics said on May 18 it will run its \'Battery Turn\' resource-circulation campaign to collect used vacuum cleaner batteries and recycle them into rare metals. The campaign, backed by the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy and run with the Korea Environment Corporation and E-Circular Governance, has continued annually since 2022. Customers who return used batteries receive discounts on new battery purchases, with higher discounts offered this year.
