Samsung SDS is strengthening its AI-based cloud security business through partnerships with U.S. AI security startup XBOW and South Korean cloud security company Tatum Security. With XBOW, it plans to expand AI-driven vulnerability detection for corporate customers\' web-based IT assets and conduct penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses. With Tatum Security, it aims to enhance integrated security monitoring for multicloud environments and broaden cooperation into cloud access and privilege management services.

eG Innovations said growing use of IT monitoring tools has not solved operational problems as hybrid on-premise and cloud environments become more complex. Srihari Avar (스리하리 아바르) cited three issues: alarm overload, proliferation of monitoring tools and wasted manpower. The company said its EG Enterprise single platform monitors everything from user experience to infrastructure and supports automated root-cause analysis, domain-specific agents and expanding AI features.
