AI and data infrastructure solutions company HS Hyosung Information System held the Data Center Modernisation Conference 2026 on Sept. 15 at Lotte Hotel Busan and shared data centre modernisation strategies for the AI era.

HS Hyosung Information System introduced strategies at the event ranging from data and infrastructure buildouts for enterprise AI to improving private cloud operating efficiency and securing cyber resilience.

It presented end-to-end data centre modernisation strategies and implementation measures spanning AI infrastructure adoption, private cloud buildouts, data protection and improved operating efficiency.

Kwon Dong-su (권동수), a senior specialist, delivered a keynote presentation titled "Data and infrastructure buildout strategy for enterprise AI in the agentic AI era of 2026". Jeong Go-hoon (정고훈), a PM, introduced smart city project cases and explained the company's private cloud buildout capabilities and strategy. Kim Dong-hyuk (김동혁), a team leader, introduced data protection and recovery strategies that support uninterrupted business operations even in disasters and cyber threats.

Partner companies also took part to share the latest technologies and response strategies. FuriosaAI and Rablup each showcased the NPU "RNGD", which supports high power efficiency and high-performance inference, and modernisation tools for efficient AI training and inference. VMware by Broadcom presented ways to cut data centre costs using VCF, while Veeam outlined next-generation service recovery strategies in a zero trust environment. Palo Alto Networks Korea presented data centre modernisation strategies using a security platform based on "Precision AI".

Yang Jeong-gyu (양정규), chief executive of HS Hyosung Information System, said, "As AI use accelerates, a data centre foundation that can operate and scale it stably becomes important." He added, "Through this conference, we hope customers will review the infrastructure tasks needed for AI environments and seek practical directions for modernisation." He said, "Based on accumulated expertise and technical capabilities, HS Hyosung Information System will support the entire process of customers' infrastructure innovation, from AI adoption to data infrastructure buildouts, operating efficiency and data protection."
