Naver launches beta of conversational search AI Tab for Naver Plus members

Naver on April 28 launched a beta version of its AI search service, AI Tab, for Naver Plus membership users. The conversational search feature is designed to understand user intent and context and broaden exploration through dialogue. It strengthens links across Naver services such as integrated search, Shopping, Place, Blog and Cafe, supporting steps from browsing to action on a single screen, including reservations and purchases.

LG AI Research to work with Nvidia to link EXAONE and Nemotron ecosystems

LG AI Research and Nvidia executives met on April 21 at LG AI Research headquarters in Magok, Seoul, and agreed to strengthen a technology alliance to expand the K-EXAONE ecosystem. The companies plan to broaden cooperation by combining LG\'s EXAONE model with Nvidia\'s Nemotron open ecosystem to jointly develop specialised models. They have continued technical collaboration from EXAONE 3.0 through K-EXAONE and multimodal EXAONE 4.5.

Medical AI flaws exposed as models diagnose without images

Artificial intelligence used in healthcare can generate answers as if it has seen diagnostic images even when none are provided, researchers found. A Stanford University team reported similar issues across 12 visual AI models. The effect was pronounced in medical queries, where outputs tended to lean toward severe diagnoses. The researchers said some models could rank top on chest X-ray benchmarks without images. They proposed a filtering method, B-Clean, to remove questions answerable without images.
