Nutanix Prism Central 7 earns security functions certificate, targets public sector market

Nutanix said on Aug. 6 that its integrated infrastructure management platform, Nutanix Prism Central 7, has obtained a security functions certificate. The company said the certification means Prism Central 7 meets security standards required for deployment by South Korean public institutions. Nutanix said the platform manages multiple Nutanix clusters from a single console, improves data centre visibility and provides automation-based operations, including GPU resource monitoring for AI workloads.

Fasoo AI expands Fasoo DSPM support to include OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook and Slack

Fasoo AI said on July 28 it will expand support in its multicloud data security posture management solution, Fasoo DSPM, for cloud storage and SaaS applications. The update adds support for Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint, enabling identification of personal and sensitive information and risk grading for administrators, and supports automatic conversion to Microsoft Information Protection. It also adds monitoring for externally shared OneDrive files and support for Outlook and Slack to detect sensitive information and check risk factors.

As artificial intelligence is rapidly adopted in cybersecurity, security patching practices across the tech industry are changing, with patch releases growing faster and larger than before. Microsoft rolled out its biggest-ever security patch after using AI to detect code vulnerabilities. The United States introduced a new coordination framework called Gold Eagle to speed detection, prioritisation and patching for critical infrastructure. Companies also launched AI-native security platforms, initiatives and services across cloud, operations and vulnerability testing.
