Frost & Sullivan says cloud security shifts to context-based risk management
Frost & Sullivan said cloud security is shifting from basic visibility to reducing risk through context-based management, according to its 2026 Frost Radar report on cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP). The report said security teams face a surge in signals as multicloud, Kubernetes, APIs and AI workloads spread. It said CNAPP is evolving into an integrated platform that links signals across code, cloud, runtime and SOC workflows to continuously prioritise risk.

Microsoft is using Amazon Web Services infrastructure to help run GitHub, Techzine reported on June 16. The report said GitHub is seeing unprecedented growth as AI-driven software development surges. Microsoft is moving GitHub to its Azure cloud but has faced delays as usage has climbed. It is temporarily relying on AWS to handle the load and is also considering a multicloud strategy to secure additional capacity.

With XBOW, it plans to expand AI-driven vulnerability detection for corporate customers\' web-based IT assets and conduct penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses. With Tatum Security, it aims to enhance integrated security monitoring for multicloud environments and broaden cooperation into cloud access and privilege management services.
