Hybrid multicloud computing company Nutanix said on Aug. 6 that its integrated infrastructure management platform Nutanix Prism Central 7 has obtained a security functions certificate.

With the certification, Nutanix Prism Central 7 now meets the security standards required for adoption by South Korean public institutions, the company stressed.

According to the company, Nutanix Prism Central 7 is a platform that can centrally manage multiple Nutanix clusters from a single console. It improves visibility into data centre infrastructure operations and provides an automation-based operating environment. Through its GPU resource monitoring function, it can centrally manage GPU usage status, performance and allocation used for AI computing.

It also supports operations for Kubernetes-based AI applications and container workloads in conjunction with the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform. This allows companies and public institutions to operate AI model training and data processing environments stably on Nutanix infrastructure.

Byun Jae-geun (변재근), head of Nutanix Korea, said, "Obtaining this security functions certificate is an important milestone that officially verifies the security and stability of Nutanix Prism Central 7." He added, "Based on this, Nutanix will provide AI infrastructure solutions with the level of security and operational efficiency required by public institutions, and will accelerate business expansion in the domestic public sector market."
