Wemade Connect to launch subculture mobile game \'Make Drama : MAD\' on June 4
Wemade Connect has confirmed the release of a new subculture mobile title and will target South Korea\'s girl-character game market in the first half of the year. Wemade Max said the mobile subculture RPG \'Make Drama : MAD\', serviced by its subsidiary Wemade Connect and developed by Fluffy Duck, will be officially launched in South Korea on June 4. Pre-registrations surpassed 500,000 participants in about 25 days.

The cases share a fragile business model in which early monetisation failures quickly trigger reduced operations, cash squeezes and staff departures. A tougher funding climate, higher fixed labour costs and widening AI-driven productivity gaps with large developers are also adding pressure.

Netmarble\'s \'Stone Age Raising\' tops popularity charts on Apple and Google in South Korea
Netmarble said on Thursday that its new idle mobile RPG \'Stone Age Raising\' has topped popularity rankings on South Korea\'s Google Play store, following its earlier rise to No. 1 on Apple\'s App Store. Released on March 3, the title is the latest game based on the \'Stone Age\' intellectual property that 200 million people worldwide have played. Netmarble is running launch events offering in-game items and pet rewards.
