[Digital Today reporter Hojeong Lee] Devsisters said on July 31 that its new idle mobile RPG 'CookieRun: Crumble' has reached No. 1 in the free-game popularity ranking on South Korea’s Apple App Store.

Launched globally on July 30, 'CookieRun: Crumble' had already ranked No. 1 in South Korea’s Apple App Store free-game popularity chart ahead of its official launch, supported by pre-download performance. It has maintained the position as of 8 a.m. on July 31.

The large user base secured in the early stage of the launch translated into immediate sales. After entering the sales ranking at No. 10 at about 4:30 p.m. on launch day, it rose to No. 3 by 11 p.m.

Performance indicators in global markets also became visible. On the first day of its official launch, 50% of total sales came from overseas markets. It entered the upper ranks of local popularity charts in major countries with strong 'CookieRun' intellectual property fandom, including No. 8 in the United States, No. 2 in Taiwan and No. 2 in Thailand.

'CookieRun: Crumble' is the first idle growth game using the CookieRun intellectual property. As of launch, it supports a total of 69 types of cookies and 54 types of pets. Devsisters plans to run regular updates on a four-week cycle to sustain the early momentum and continue adding new cookies and pets. It also plans to collect user feedback through its official community and actively reflect it in service operations to build a foundation for long-term success.
