Clover Games said on Jan. 29 that global pre-registrations for its new mobile RPG HeavenHells have reached 1 million.
HeavenHells is a team tactical RPG featuring girl characters developed by H2 Studio, a unit of Clover Games. It is set in near-future Tokyo after a dimensional rift called Purgatory, connected to hell, appears.
With pre-registrations topping 1 million, Clover Games will provide cumulative pre-registration rewards to all users who log in after the official launch. The rewards include the SSR-grade character Erena, which drew strong interest at offline events including AGF 2024. Users who take part in the official lounge pre-registration verification event will also receive 10 standard recruitment tickets.
Clover Games also released a new promotional video showing the daily life of the Ajisai Squad, set in one of several academies. It also laid out plans for user communication just ahead of launch.
At 7 p.m. on Feb. 3, one day before the official launch, it will hold a preview broadcast on its official YouTube channel. The executive PD and the planning director will appear to introduce in-game information and key improvements reflected after the CBT, and communicate with users through a live Q&A session.
Heo Dong-hyeok (허동혁), a PD at H2 Studio, said reaching 1 million global pre-registrations was possible thanks to users who waited for and supported HeavenHells. He said the studio would work to prepare a stable service environment ahead of launch to meet expectations.
HeavenHells is scheduled to launch officially in South Korea on Feb. 4. The launch in global regions outside South Korea is planned for March.
