NASA releases space selfies shot on iPhone 17 Pro Max

NASA is using consumer smartphones as working cameras on its crewed lunar-orbit mission Artemis II. The agency issued each of the four astronauts an iPhone 17 Pro Max and allowed use during the flight, with internet and Bluetooth disabled and the devices restricted to recording. NASA has released photos taken inside the Orion spacecraft, including crew images shot with the front camera. Lunar imagery has also drawn attention.
