Performance can be affected by low storage, accumulated system data and battery degradation. Suggested measures include freeing storage space, offloading unused apps and optimizing iCloud photo storage, as well as limiting background app refresh. Reducing animations and transparency and adjusting Haptic Touch speed may also help. Checking battery health and replacing a worn battery, or resetting and restoring the device, were also presented as options.

Apple’s new HomeView home hub sells for $299, but fully using the key AI features shown in demonstrations requires additional conditions. Personalization and camera AI features need certain recent iPhone or iPad models, and some functions also require an iCloud+ subscription. HomeView launches on Nov. 13 with a 7-inch touchscreen in wall-mount and tabletop versions. Without meeting device and subscription requirements, personalized requests and AI camera summaries may be unavailable.
