Webzen launches indie game Memoris on Steam and Epic Games Store

Webzen launched indie game \"Memoris: Forsaken by Light\" on global game platforms Steam and the Epic Games Store on April 28. The turn-based strategy RPG was developed by South Korean game studio Black Anchor and is published by Webzen. After early access in October 2023, the company overhauled combat and progression systems based on player feedback. The full version expands the main quest and adds four new characters.

Line Games to join 2026 PlayX4, showcase \'Ember and Blade\' and more

Line Games said on April 28 it will participate in 2026 PlayX4, a game show in the Seoul metropolitan area. The event will run from May 21 to May 24 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The company will operate a dedicated booth and let visitors play demo versions of four new PC titles, including in-house projects \'Ember and Blade\' and \'Quiet\' and publishing titles \'Come to My Party\' and \'Code Exit\'.

JoyCity launches new title \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack\'

JoyCity said it will start official service on April 28 for \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack,\' a historical MMORPG developed by Red Ginkgo Games. The title was developed by director Kim Tae-gon, known for \'Imjinrok\' and \'Gersang.\' It features an encounter-based combat system combining real heroes and weapons, with real-time control. The game includes field sieges, naval battles and an economy system. JoyCity also named history lecturer Choi Tae-sung as a promotional model and will run a launch event offering in-game items.
