Nexon said on Oct. 26 it will showcase 'Pareidolia', a new title under development by Nexon Games, at AGF 2026.

The event will be the first time it unveils a Korean-language demo version for domestic users. Users can experience daily-life content and live turn-based combat set in the otherworldly city of Animashi, which resembles the real world.

The on-site booth will recreate Tasogare Hall, a key living space in the game. Tasogare Hall is where users live with characters called Mates, who have special abilities, and build relationships.

It will also offer interactive content using voice recognition technology. Visitors can talk to Mates or play rock-paper-scissors by voice. In addition to the game demo, it will provide hands-on experiences that let users interact directly with the characters.

'Pareidolia' was shown this year at Anime Expo in the United States and Tokyo Game Show in Japan, and the AGF event will be the first time it is demonstrated to domestic users.

The game is being developed by RX Studio under the IO Division of Nexon Games, which developed 'Blue Archive'. It is being made for PC, console and mobile platforms.

Users will take up a post as head of the revival center in Animashi, live with Mates, explore areas where anomalies and erosion have occurred, and engage in combat. It applies 3D graphics based on Unreal Engine 5 and a live turn-based battle system.

Cha Min-seo (차민서), PD at Nexon Games' RX Studio, said, "We are preparing so players can directly experience the game's main content, from bonding with Mates to exploration and combat."
