LG Uplus to roll out automatic SIM updates from Oct. 22 to boost security

LG Uplus will begin rolling out automatic SIM and eSIM updates from Oct. 22 to protect customer information, allowing users to receive strengthened security without applying or visiting stores. The company said it moved the start date forward by about a month from November. It has introduced a new security system since April and continued SIM updates and free replacements. As of Oct. 20, about 6,589,000 people had completed an update or replacement.

iPhone Duo battery rated at 4,883 mAh, third largest among recent iPhones

Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, has a total battery capacity of 4,883 mAh, making it the third largest among recently released iPhones. Apple disclosed the figure in European Union energy-efficiency regulatory documents after opening preorders. The device uses two battery cells of 2,962 mAh and 1,921 mAh. Apple says video playback lasts up to 44 hours on the outer display and up to 31 hours on the inner display.
