Shinhan Bank holds dementia prevention training at Shinhan Hakijae, expands financial protection
Shinhan Bank is expanding its support for seniors in the Incheon area from financial education to health and daily life by holding a dementia prevention lecture with Gachon University Gil Medical Center. The bank said it held the special lecture on Sept. 10 at Shinhan Hakijae Incheon ahead of Dementia Overcome Day on Sept. 21. A hospital professor introduced warning signs, early detection and daily health management.

Beluga says \'Today\'s Walnut\' is a basecamp for cognitive data, plans expansion into digital therapeutics
Cognitive-function startup Beluga plans to expand into digital therapeutics based on its brain-training game \'Today\'s Walnut\'. The company aims to analyse behaviour data generated during gameplay to assess users\' cognitive status and, over time, develop a digital therapeutic device for mild cognitive impairment. Beluga is jointly researching core AI models for a cognitive profiling platform with Kakao Games. It is also preparing a senior-focused version, an English release next year and longer-term work toward a 2028 digital therapeutic device.

Woori Bank, Woori Card and National Pension Service to support property management for people with dementia and developmental disabilities
Woori Bank and Woori Card will work with South Korea\'s National Pension Service to support a property management assistance service for users who have difficulty managing their own assets, including older people with dementia and people with developmental disabilities. Woori Bank said on Sept. 10 it signed a business agreement with Woori Card and the National Pension Service at the pension agency\'s Gangnam building in Seoul. Under the agreement, the bank will manage trust funds and offer dedicated products and preferential benefits, while Woori Card will link public trusts with card payments.
