Woori Bank and Woori Card are joining hands with the National Pension Service to support a property management assistance service for users who have difficulty managing their own assets, including older people with dementia and people with developmental disabilities.

Woori Bank said on Sept. 10 it signed a business agreement on the property management assistance service with Woori Card and the National Pension Service at the pension agency's Gangnam building.

The property management assistance service is a social service that helps protect the assets of users who have difficulty managing their own property due to developmental disabilities or dementia and supports them in using it for necessary purposes.

Under the agreement, Woori Bank will manage trust funds for the property management assistance service. It also plans to offer dedicated financial products and preferential benefits for service users.

Woori Card will link public trusts with card payments to help users use funds needed for daily life, such as medical expenses and purchases of daily necessities.

Woori Financial Group plans to support operation of the property management assistance service and improve convenience in using financial services by linking Woori Bank's fund management with Woori Card's payment services.

Se-hyung Cho (조세형), head of Woori Bank's Institutional Group, said, "We will expand support so that users who have difficulty managing their own assets can use financial services in a stable way."
