Hana Financial Group will expand mobile financial services for older people in Incheon ahead of its planned September relocation of its headquarters to Cheongna International City in Incheon.

Hana Financial said on Aug. 12 it will fully launch the "Hana Happy Dream Bus" to improve financial access for seniors and vulnerable elderly people in Incheon.

The Hana Happy Dream Bus is a service in which financial experts ride a dedicated minibus to visit senior towns, community senior centers, senior welfare centers and care facilities for older people who have difficulty moving around or accessing information.

Hana Financial plans to expand the service, focusing on Incheon, ahead of the relocation of the group headquarters to Cheongna International City.

As a first step, retired financial experts who previously served as branch managers and PB center heads at Hana Bank visited senior centers in Seohae-gu and Bupyeong-gu in Incheon to provide financial education to about 50 older people.

The education consists of retirement asset management, inheritance and gifts, prevention of financial fraud such as voice phishing, and financial management for dementia prevention.

Within the month, it will expand visits to senior centers in Incheon, including Gyeyang-gu and Yeonsu-gu. It also plans to directly visit island areas in Ongjin County, where access to financial services is relatively difficult due to geographic conditions.

Hana Financial plans to boost financial access by directly visiting older people as face-to-face financial contact points shrink amid the spread of digital finance.

A Hana Financial official said, "We will support more senior customers in the Incheon area so they can receive professional financial consultations," and added, "We will continue to expand inclusive finance linked to the Incheon community."
