Altman\'s World to expand human verification with Tinder, Zoom and DocuSign integrations
World, an identity verification project involving Sam Altman, plans to expand the use of its human verification technology beyond Tinder to dating apps, concert ticketing, enterprise services and email. It will roll out ticketing tools aimed at curbing scalpers using automated bots and link with systems such as Ticketmaster and Eventbrite. World also plans integrations with Zoom and DocuSign, alongside new options including agent delegation and tiered verification using Orb scans, NFC IDs and selfies.

Ko Kwang-heon takes office as Bangmisim chair, pledges normalisation and trust recovery
The Broadcasting Media and Communications Review Committee said on Wednesday it held an inauguration ceremony for its new chair, Ko Kwang-heon, in Seoul. Ko said normalising the committee and restoring public trust would be his top priorities. He pledged to review past problems objectively, identify responsibility and causes, and correct distorted systems and procedures. He also promised independent deliberations, transparent disclosure of results and personnel reform, as well as faster responses to illegal content.

Government to mobilise full support for fair elections ahead of June 3 local polls
South Korea\'s government will step up cross-ministry support to curb AI-driven fake news and ensure fair elections, 50 days before the June 3 nationwide local polls. Prime Minister Kim Min-seok chaired a ministerial meeting on election integrity and called fake news a challenge to democracy and a clear crime. Authorities said they have set up an election support situation room, expanded training and enforcement, and will operate dedicated investigative teams.
