Woowahan Brothers\' Baemin Academy surpasses 350,000 total students 12 years after opening

Baemin Academy, a free education centre run by Woowahan Brothers for restaurant owners using the Baedal Minjok platform, has surpassed 350,000 cumulative students. The company said total enrolment reached 357,174 as of late April, up by about 50,000 in a year. Opened in 2014, the academy offers theory, hands-on training and consulting via offline centres and online courses. It is expanding practical AI training and plans to improve programmes and access.

Woori Financial opens 14th Goodwill Store in Hwaseong

Woori Financial Group\'s Woori Financial Future Foundation has opened the Goodwill Store Milal Sinyoungtong branch in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, a shop that supports self-reliance for people with developmental disabilities. The foundation said it opened the store with the Miral Welfare Foundation on May 29. The new site is the 14th jointly built store. Woori Financial plans to expand stores to Hanam and Jeonju and aims to support 30 billion won through 2034 to build 100 stores nationwide and provide stable jobs for 1,500 people.
