Dell Technologies on Wednesday unveiled the Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition, a creator notebook equipped with Nvidia\'s RTX Spark superchip. It is the first time the chip has been applied to the XPS series. The company plans to launch the model in South Korea on Oct. 16. The chip combines Nvidia AI, RTX graphics and unified memory on a single silicon platform and supports local AI workloads.

DDR5 memory prices have climbed more than fivefold from levels seen before the memory crisis, raising cost pressure in the PC and laptop markets. TechRadar reported Germany’s DDR5 price index rose as much as 544 percent from July 2025. In the United States, a DDR5-5600 32GB kit is about $409, up from a prior low of $72. Rising SSD and GPU prices are also lifting costs and could keep pressure into 2027.
