LG Display starts mass production of laptop LCD panel with auto refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz
LG Display said on March 22 it will be the first in the world to mass-produce a laptop LCD panel that automatically adjusts its refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the usage environment. The panel applies the company’s self-developed \'Oxide 1Hz\' technology and switches between low and high refresh rates based on user activity. The company said it can improve battery usage by more than 48%.

Nvidia enters ARM Windows laptop market, threatening \'Intel Inside\'
Nvidia is entering the ARM-based Windows laptop market. The Verge reported the company will introduce N1 and N1X system-on-chip designs for Windows laptops this spring. Lenovo is developing six laptops based on the chips, including a 15-inch gaming model, and is preparing multiple IdeaPad and Yoga models. Dell plans to launch an Alienware gaming laptop with the N1X early next year, with possible use in the XPS lineup.

AI PC outlook clouds amid memory shortage as manufacturers shift strategies
Rising RAM prices are weighing on PC buyers and upgrade demand, but may ease fatigue over AI PC marketing, analysts say. Ars Technica forecasts a 40 to 70 percent jump in 2025 PC memory and storage costs as shortages worsen. IDC expects PC makers to raise prices 15 to 20 percent and lower average memory. Analysts say higher costs and weak demand could push AI PCs to prove practical value.
