Dell Technologies unveiled the 2026 XPS 14 and XPS 16, new models in its premium XPS laptop brand, at CES 2026. XPS is the top line in Dell’s laptop portfolio. It was once renamed “Dell Premium” but returned to the XPS name this year.
The new models feature 14.5-inch and 16.3-inch displays. They use a unibody design made with CNC-machined aluminium and Gorilla Glass to improve build quality. The front cover carries the XPS logo for the first time, and user convenience features include physical function keys and a seamless glass touchpad.
For performance, the laptops use Intel Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake) CPUs and Intel Arc GPUs. Compared with the previous generation, AI performance rises by up to 57 percent and 78 percent, and graphics performance improves by more than 50 percent. The thermal system has been redesigned to improve noise and power efficiency.
Display options include tandem OLED and a power-saving 2K LCD. The 2K LCD model supports up to 27 hours of battery life, and more than 40 hours of video playback. XPS 14 and XPS 16 weigh 1.36 kg and 1.63 kg, respectively, in a thin and light form factor.
They also apply a modular USB-C port and a detachable keyboard structure to improve ease of repair, and use recycled materials to meet environmental standards. XPS 14 and XPS 16 are scheduled to be released in mid-March.
