Delivery Hero pushes 8 trillion won sale of Woowa Brothers
Germany\'s Delivery Hero has begun a process to sell Woowa Brothers, the operator of South Korean food delivery app Baedal Minjok, industry sources said on Wednesday. Delivery Hero is seeking about 8 trillion won, a level it said equals about 12 times Woowa Brothers\' average operating profit over the past two years. JPMorgan has distributed teaser letters to major domestic and global companies and some private equity funds.

Baemin and merchant partners deliver lunchboxes to vulnerable children
Baemin delivered lunchboxes to vulnerable households with children, working with its merchant partners. Operator Woowa Brothers said it made and delivered lunchboxes to 150 households in Seoul’s Songpa district on May 12 with partners from its Baemin Friends community. The volunteer activity was held for Family Month in May and was linked with the World Vision Songpa Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.

Baemin awards scholarships to 310 children of restaurant owners
Woowa Brothers, operator of food delivery app Baedal Minjok, said it awarded scholarships to 310 children of restaurant owners. The company held the 2026 scholarship certificate ceremony on May 9 at COEX in Seoul and delivered 1.75 billion won. The programme, launched in 2022, is funded through a care fund set up by founder Kim Bong-jin and his wife and additional annual donations from Woowa Brothers.
