Mobile meal voucher payments are now available on Baemin. Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, said on Wednesday it added Payco as a new payment option to support simple payments such as mobile meal vouchers and cards, coupons and points.
Mobile meal vouchers, previously mainly used at offline restaurants, can now be used for Baemin delivery orders. This expands where vouchers provided by workplaces for meal support can be used. The company said Payco meal vouchers have the largest number of affiliated merchants and users among mobile meal voucher services, with about 460,000 users as of July 2026.
It also supports simple payment methods linked to Payco, including cards, coupons and points. Baemin said it supports bank account and mobile phone payments, various simple payment options and even cards issued overseas, and that it has the widest range of payment methods among domestic delivery apps.
Payco payments can be used for food delivery and for grocery and shopping services. Mobile meal vouchers can be used only for food delivery orders, and payment is not possible for menus that include alcoholic beverages. Baemin said it plans to gradually expand the application of the Payco payment option to all customers through Aug. 31 to stabilise the service.
Seong-gil Choi (최성길), head of the Payment and Settlement Product Office at Woowa Brothers, said, "With the introduction of Payco, Baemin has taken another step toward becoming a closely integrated lifestyle platform that can be used conveniently anytime." He added, "We will continue working to become a service that customers naturally seek out across their daily lives."
