Hanwha Solutions Q1 operating profit up 205 percent to 92.6 billion won

Hanwha Solutions said first-quarter operating profit rose 205.5 percent from a year earlier to 92.6 billion won, while revenue increased 25.5 percent to 3.88 trillion won on a consolidated basis. It marked a return to operating profit for the first time in three quarters since the second quarter of 2025. The company said U.S. solar customs delays eased, plant operations normalised and profitability improved across renewable energy, chemicals and advanced materials.

Intel unveiled its next-generation Wildcat Lake CPU and a reference laptop, signaling a Windows-side push against Apple’s MacBook Neo. The 14-inch ultra-light model adopts an aluminum chassis and bright colors. Woori Investment Securities posts 70.1 billion won Q1 net operating revenue, led by non-interest income growth

Woori Investment Securities said on Thursday its first-quarter net operating revenue rose 75.0 percent from a year earlier to 70.1 billion won, driven by growth in non-interest income. Non-interest income increased 173.3 percent to 41.4 billion won, reversing the balance with interest income. Investment banking fees and securities-related gains rose sharply. Client custody assets increased to 20.3 trillion won, and the board approved a 1 trillion won rights offering.
