Publisher Insight has released a new book, \'Architecture Evolves,\' which explains IT system structures as an evolutionary process rather than a list of individual technologies. The book describes how systems differentiate into databases, middleware and application layers, then reconnect to form corporate information flows. In its final stage, it says cloud and AI expand systems into a new dimension. Author Sang-hwi Kong (공상휘) based the book on lectures he has repeated in training new hires.

Xlog, which specialises in real-time data replication, is targeting nearly 30 percent revenue growth this year, aiming for 6 billion won from 4.5 billion won last year. Chief Executive Jang Seok-ju (장석주) said demand is rising for real-time data integration for AI training and for disaster recovery systems, supported by increased budgets. The company focuses on CDC and an initial data loader, and is expanding overseas via a Singapore partner.
