Enterprise software company TmaxSoft said on March 16 it appointed former Kyndryl Korea head of sales Choi Young-man (최영만) as its new head of technology at executive vice president level to strengthen its global technical support system.
Choi completed a master's degree in physics at Seoul National University in 1998 and has worked for more than 25 years at companies in and outside South Korea, including Accenture, SK C&C, Teradata, Innowireless, LIG System and Kyndryl Korea.
At TmaxSoft, he will first establish a technology organisation aligned with the company's strategy to expand its global AI transformation business. He also plans to internalise technical support capabilities optimised for new AI products TmaxSoft is developing.
He plans to set up a professional technical support service system covering consulting, customised development and operations for clients introducing AI. TmaxSoft also plans to implement measures to secure capabilities for new global business, including advancing its ability to carry out overseas projects and building a technical knowledge-base system for overseas partners.
Choi said he would strengthen organisations and processes so the company can closely support customers' cloud transitions and AI adoption to realise TmaxSoft's global vision of providing the enterprise-level AI business platform customers want.
