Enterprise software company TmaxSoft said on July 27 it has launched ProObject 22, a next-generation business application framework.

The company said ProObject 22 is a Java-based business application development framework designed on a cloud-native architecture. It is optimised for cloud environments and compatible with various open-source solutions, it said. It can also be linked with companies’ existing systems to support flexibility and scalability.

TmaxSoft said it plans to add various AI functions within this year to respond to the shift toward AI and cloud-native approaches. It will also include an AI Code Assistant featuring code generation, analysis and a document chatbot. Developers can use an AI-based coding approach called Vibe Coding to reduce repetitive coding tasks and boost productivity by reviewing and refining AI-generated outputs, the company explained.

The AI Code Assistant functions will also be applied to ProFrame 6, a C-language-based framework product, as well as its Java framework products.

TmaxSoft Chief Executive Hyung-yong Lee (이형용) said application development and deployment solutions are seen as a powerful driver of growth in the software industry. He said TmaxSoft will go beyond simply supplying products and will introduce next-generation frameworks that deliver design-based development automation focused on addressing customers’ pain points, while leading the AI-centred enterprise development platform market.
