Lam Research launches industry-academia-public program to train semiconductor talent

Lam Research has launched an industry-academia-public cooperation program in South Korea to train semiconductor process integration specialists. The U.S. chip equipment company is working with the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology. The course uses Lam Research\'s Semiverse Solutions simulation platform to provide virtual process training. It will run at least three times a year and aims to train about 100 people in its first year.

KISO to hold public hearing on self-regulation of false, manipulated information, release guidelines

The Korea Internet Self-Governance Organization (KISO) is moving to set full-scale self-regulation standards for responding to false and manipulated information on platforms ahead of the revised Information and Communications Network Act taking effect in July. KISO will hold a seminar on May 13 at the Korea Press Center with related policy bodies and will for the first time disclose its self-policy guideline. The event will include presentations and a discussion session with academics, officials and lawyers.

Dunamu to hold \'UP Class\' for college students to share digital asset practical experience

Dunamu, the operator of digital asset exchange Upbit, said on Thursday it will hold a digital asset lecture programme called \'UP Class\' for college students. The programme is designed to improve understanding of digital assets and reflects youth demand to hear from current Upbit employees. Dunamu staff will visit major universities to share field experience and expertise, with lectures on digital assets and future finance and career talk sessions offering job preparation advice.
