Substack unveils video recording studio
Substack has launched a video production tool called Substack Recording Studio, TechCrunch reported on March 12. The desktop-based studio lets creators record video with up to 2 guests, add custom watermarks and share screens. It also automatically generates clips and thumbnails after recording. Substack said it now provides the functions in a single studio. The company said creators using audio or video features in the past 90 days had 50% higher revenue growth than those who did not.

Michael Burry warns of Nvidia bubble, likens it to Cisco during dotcom era
Michael Burry, known as the real-life figure behind the film The Big Short, strengthened his pessimistic outlook on Nvidia after the company became the world’s largest and again topped results. He cited Nvidia’s purchase commitments rising to $9.52 billion in a year and total supply obligations nearing $11.7 billion, close to annual operating cash flow. Burry compared it to Cisco’s dotcom-era inventory losses.

Polymarket acquires prediction-market aggregated API startup Dome
Onchain prediction-market platform Polymarket has acquired Dome, a Y Combinator-backed startup that provides an aggregated API for prediction markets, The Block reported on Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Dome helps developers build apps, bots, dashboards and trading tools that work across platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi. Dome previously raised $500,000 from Y Combinator and $4.7 million in separate seed funding.
